Good show. Hoping China Spring can at least hang with Argyle. It seems like you can look up and Argyle has left a team in the dust.

You better have a stable full of horses, and then a second stable of equally talented horses, if you want to hang with Argyle. I said this in another post, but this is the best Argyle team I've ever seen, and that includes the 2013 state champion bunch, and all the other state finalist squads.

And aren't many of their skill kids underclassmen?

Overall, that’d be a question for the Argyle folks, as I just don’t know for sure. Hogenboom, the QB, is just a junior, and Byce, the RB, is a sophomore. Other than that, I thought they were pretty senior-heavy. I could be wrong, though.

Great tribute to my friend, Johnny Bishop. He loved this show and S2S coverage of the smaller classifications. You guys were family to him. He is looking down and smiling.

Yes. That was a great tribute to John (Bd62). I think about the game in Giddings when you came down. We had a great time. That’s when he told me if his illness. Thank you Grant and Terry for the tribute.

I remember that Cuero/Giddings game like it was yesterday Val, also remember chatting with John after you introduced us.
