I notice Kennedale's coach doesn't post stats. I don't know the coach personally but I guess he only wants the players to focus on W's. Stats will not win football games. If there are any stats for Kennedale, it probably comes from journalists. Stats can be a distraction from the ultimate goal which I just mentioned. They can be very deceiving too if you're in a weak district and have had a weak schedule. Stats don't mean anything when the whistle blows for the opening kickoff no matter who you're playing. In college, stats can help you rank high in the draft. In the NFL, stats can get you a big salary. But in high school, throw out any stats and play ball.
Region II, Division 4A-1 is a mine field in the area round. These teams are good and if you stumble, it's hard to catch up. If you're not careful, you'll step on a mine and start working on basketball skills.
Games with well matched teams are many times determined by mistakes. This week, the cream will rise to the top.
