I believe winner of this one gets the winner of Port Isabel vs. CC West Oso.

To my knowledge, I don't think Port Isabel has ever played Wimberley before. Same goes for Crystal City.

Hondo-Llano winners gets PI vs. West Oso winner. I believe PI played Hondo one year in the playoffs. One of the last long playoff runs PI went on.

Does Crystal City have the 2 guys that video and commentate during the games? I remember it was a team from round 1 last year...

Ok, my mistake. And yes, Port Isabel has played Hondo twice before. 1990, and 2003. Port Isabel won both games.

PI has never played Llano before.

No shame, Crystal City has been improving season over season the past five years or so. Wimberley might have been a little too confident going into this game. You know how it goes in the playoffs having been there every year for so long. Kids play up to the competition. Good luck next year. Hats off to the Javalinas.

No over confidence. Nothing to be ashamed of other than poor play calling on our part and a porous defense all season. Crystal City came to play. We were outplayed and out coached and that is tough for me to say.
