2 of 3 Waco Trib staff had Connally. Connally was once ranked #10 4A-D2 and Connally had a higher MaxPreps rating. Connally was tied for district lead. I don't think any of that added up to a Fairfield 44-9 win in anyones book I have talked to.

Pigskin Prep had Fairfield favored by two, so almost a toss up. Surprising score but not a big upset,no matter who won.

4A-2 Dallas Lincoin (winless and ranked #84 out of 90 4A-2 schools) upset Nevada Commmunity 36-21.

The biggest upset was Clyde yelling at the refs in the Argyle game for not calling obvious holding and facemask penalties on Melissa in the 2nd half when Argyle was blistering them, LOL. :D

Gonzales beat Boerne 35 to 28. Boerne should have been at least a double digit favorite.
