Well, from what I understand, this is a good ole’ district rivalry. I know BB is down and LHP is up this year, but maybe we can coax the two into some trash smack talking fun!!
We need some life pumped in here, so come on Cam, greendawg, LHPfactory, panfan and whoever else; ARE YOU READY TO RRRUUUUUUMMBLE??????

This will be a quiet rumble ! Guessing a score of ..... 70 - 7 Barneys .
The Barneys will not have any problem winning district , ( pains me to say ) . To be honest , I dont see them having any competition until at least round 3 or 4 .

I havent said much about this one because of folks already whining about the disparity in these two teams and the potential for it to get ugly, And its not the Burnet folks whining, its the usual haters we play that are already in a bullying protest...lol
I dont see Burnet stopping our back ups let alone what the first string will do. Im sure some will fuss about the score if its way lopsided, which its highly likely to be.
During 48 minutes full throttle there is about 150 point spread between these two teams.
Im hoping Burnet reaches deep and gives us a game, but This LH bunch has always dominated the Burnet Bunch and have widened the gap with hard work and dedication over the years.
I hope for an injury free game for all the players involved and I also hope its not freezing cold on the Green Mile, I swear the visitors side is the coldest place in North America.

Leave it to Cam.:spitlol::spitlol::spitlol::spitlol: Wasn't all that long ago that Burnet was competing with LH for the top slot in the district or playing against each other in the playoffs. Not sure what is going on over there, but I doubt it has anything to do with not enough athletes. I hope the program rebounds, but for this year, it will likely be a lopsided game. Not much to none to argue this week. Them Bulldogs are limping. Three key players out. The best DB been out for year. One of best OL out. Best WR /DB out. I like to watch a good game ( hard to watch the dogs getting whopped ) so I ventured over and watched the LH / Lam game. Went as expected. Going to check out Taylor / Lam this week.

Why is it that all games to watch : Marble Falls - they are Purple, Liberty Hill - they are Purple, Tarelton State - having a good year - they are Purple, TCU a good team - Purple, Kansas State - Purple. Minnesota - Purple. Always like watching Mason - they are Purple - they always play @ Marble Falls -Purple - first round. Too much Purple !!! We're all these schools last in line and took the only color left ? Purple sucks !!!

Dont hate, Im sure Burnet will play their hearts out on Friday.
The temperature should also be good according to the forecast, unless Burnet whips up a cold front with their weather machine.

#75 OL was out against CL with shoulder injury. Just checked with someone who usually knows on who's out but they haven't heard his status. WR #3 may be back for Taylor game.

Watching film on Burnet vs Lampasas and Canyon Lake, the Bulldogs are moving the ball, just cant finish and get the points in both games....

Seems like a penalty or some mistake. A big problem they can't seem to solve is the center snaps. Several times the snap is high - QB has to stretch up to get it and at least 1-3 times a game he snaps it over QB's head. Few times it might scoot along the ground. Just loses concentration on snap. Should just be natural pass between legs. Burnet Band and Highlandettes are awesome. They put on a fabulas show. They have been taking top honors at their competitions.

Burnet showed up to play, the first half looked like the old rivalry games. I think Burnet should keep Tippie at QB and utilize Denton in space. 62-26 is a big difference but no where near as lopsided as many of us expected. The penalties were very lopsided against LH also, my Sophomore got plowed in the back on KO in front of ref and no flag.
