Somehow Texas is a 3.5 pt favorite. Made a bet with a UT grad friend of mine. He wouldn’t give me the spread so I just took USC straight up. Lol easy money

I'd like to see Herman give Buechele some playing time if the Texas offense starts bogging down again. He's not as big and not as good a runner, but he has a stronger arm and maybe even more accurate if he gets a decent chance.

Well that didn't take very long for USC to score.

Pretty certain Ehlinger should NOT be a quarterback for a school like UT at this level. He's a good runner, but would probably make a good qb at a lesser school.

Horns have to settle for a field goal inside the red zone......I think inside the 10.

I just don't think Ehlinger compliments the total structure of the Texas offense......looks like a bad fit to me.

I attended UT for a year after SWTSU for 3 yrs.......but that's just me. TCU just has a big following in Texas and is closeby to me. Several Argyle players have played for the Frogs over the years. Looks like Texas put up another score. Besides.....I like and respect Gary Patterson as a Head Football Coach.

Now a great interception by the UT secondary....he actually took the ball away from the receiver from USC. Texas on their own 31, but a review on the call.

Horns retain possession after the call is confirmed. At the Texas 49 yd line......now to the USC 41 on that run.

Texas holds USC on downs inside the 5. USC should have kicked th field goal. Now Ehlinger is almost sacked behind the goal line. It's under review. It looks like a safety to me. Again.....Ehlinger gets his team in trouble......he had a chance to just throw it away.

Texas retains possession at the one foot line on a bad call. It should have been a safety.

Roughing the kicker on that punt.....should have blocked the kick but missed it completely. Texas gets another big break on that one. Just bad luck for USC on that series of plays. Texas does NOT look good on offense.

Ohio State misses a field goal as TCU digs in on defense to hold. Ohio State had a 15 play 69 yd drive and come away with zilch.

Horns D sacks USC qb and now the punt is shanked with 2:20 left in the half.

Long pass plays aren't working for UT.....the dbacks for USC are too fast.

Horns offense looks sickly......just to be totally frank about it.

4th and one now for the Horns at USC 41. Ehlinger keeper to the sideline for 2. 1:17 til halftime. Ehlinger runs up the middle on that dropback. Here comes a Horns holding call though.....erase that big run and a possible score before the half.

2nd and 20 at the Horns 48.....44 secs til half. Another long throw to the goalline. Personal foul against USC hands to the face. the pass was just out of reach.

Nope.....another pass off the mark or too short. Either too long or too short.....all long throws. Timeout Texas with 23 secs left and 3rd down. A looong field goal over 50 yds.....or go for a first???

Picked up 4 yds. that time. Timeout and 4th and 6. I'd say try the long field goal here.

3 secs left......for a 53 yarder to take the lead. YEP.....it's good to end the half......very unlikely score in this one, for sure. Texas has had lots of breaks.

If Texas can play how they played the 2nd half, they could have a solid year
