Two more on Argyle's championship baseball team have now committed verbally to a Division I program......bringing the total to this season's current roster of verbal D-1 commits to eight of the nine starters. Alex Gonzales(outfielder) committed last week to Baylor and yesterday third baseman Cade Merka(junior) committed to Texas A&M. Both are starters this season on the football team as well. Brenden Dixon(Texas), Dillon Carter(TCU) and Bo Hogeboom(Houston) are all starters on the football team as well. Sean Bolin(Utah) and the King brothers Preston(UTRVG) and Austin(UTRVG) are not playing football. Clearman is the only nonverbal commitment left on the starting roster. He also starts on the football team and is still considering which school he will attend......whether football or baseball. Ima thinkin' it will be a D-1 scholarship in baseball.
