I kinda doubt it with the way the O line did in pass protection last week. Clemson D line is gonna have a field day unless they pick it up big time

Agreed, I think A&M will avoid a blowout, but definitely not going to be able to go toe to toe yet.

Aggie O-line, including tight ends and fullback, will be the deciding factor on the final score IMO..whether they can sustain a drive and take some time off the clock.

A&M will have 20+ 4 and 5 star recruits on campus this weekend for the game....

They have a top 3 ranked 2019 recruiting class and a ton of potential commits hinging on not getting their teeth kicked in on Saturday

Well, for one, Sumlin is gone so we at least have a chance.
2nd, we actually use a tightend now. The crowd of freshman girls actually recognized this and cheered as it happened.
3rd, I've been watching Jimbo coach, and he has their full attention, and he has a knack.....thus 75 mil for 10 years.
4th, Making adjustments in the game is something I think Jimbo is a whole world better at than Sumlin....akin to changing out Sumlin's black and purple office decor. WTH?


If we can win the turnover battle, and not make stupid mistakes (leading with the top of your helmet tackles), this will be a close game. Somehow we need a few plays that get the sideline/crowd pumped up.

It's a BIG GAME at Aggieland, for sure. The entire AggieNation will be on board for this one with Jimbo in his first major test at A&M. Good luck to the Ags this weekend.....they will need all the luck they can muster......pardon the pun, LOL.

If I heard it right, ESPN gameday will be in CS today, along with about 100,000 fans, not to mention the hundreds and hundreds of tailgaters.

I hope the Aggies can keep it close (maybe even sneak in a late go ahead score at the end).....Mebbe, mebbe not. Just think what that would do to the top 25....

Key to the game will be if a&m’s O line can provide mond with any time at all.

They struggled last week in pass protection and they’re facing one of the best collegiate D lines of all time. All 4 were all Americans last year and projected first round draft picks.

Mond was sharp last week even under pressure, but this will be a different animal.

That said, I’m always optimistic so I’m excited to see how A&M plays on the big stage

Getting dominated on the LOS like I mentioned in my previous post. Defense is playing well aside from a few missed tackles but can only do so much.

Mond looks great against top competition.

Starkel comes in for 1 play and fumbles. 2 missed FGs. Only down 1 score.

Team looked good overall, with some ridiculously good, and bad plays. I believe our offense out performed theirs, and their vaunted D was getting tired at the end.

A&m outgained Clemson 501-413 and 25-14 in first downs.

In no way shape or form did they get physically outmatched. This team is already better than what sumlin put on the field.

That showing should go a long ways for recruiting

A&m’s current 2020 class is ranked #5 without the 2nd 5 star being accounted for. They will likely move up to #2
