We just not turn it over 5 times in opening quarter like we did in Boerne, we be happy. Cuero's depth is so deep, they'll not miss a beat here.

Sweet win for sure in the 109th meeting for the Bulldogs. Still a ways to go as Cuero leads the all-time series 70-33-6. Love the fact Bo is playing all the kid's, cause we will need that depth against the powerful Goliad Tigers, the final game of the regular season, and likely in the playoff rematch with them. Good win Yoakum. Beating Cuero, sure makes Saturday mornings feel better.

Wake up and smell the coffee......Goliad has been on the rise for at least 6 yrs now. Their 2011 team went 11-1. Last year they went to the regional finals. This year they will knock the door down......whomever is in the way. Their JV and Jr. High teams are loaded with talent and wins. It's a great little community for families seeking a quality rural lifestyle w/good schools. It's not expensive and the town has lots of history. Sports programs there are supported and always have been by the locals. What's not to like, Huh?

And NO......the oilfield is a nonfactor in Goliad.......that county was not heavily influenced by oilfield service companies and drilling. But it's great cattle country.

Congrats to the Bulldogs ! Hard fought game. I had the feeling my Gobblers weren’t going to show up for the game. When you have that many miscues you’re going to loose.

Yes they had a good team last year and are now bigger and more experienced since they lost little to graduation. Ask Refugio if Goliad is good. Refugio hasn’t got spanked that bad in almost 20 yrs.
