Hope you guys are right. Lots of youngsters out there for the Birds. They need to find a combination in the O line that will sustain a drive and this team could be awfully hard to beat by playoff time. But this is now. Birds 27-7 Thanks to the D.

EC special teams will score enough to win this one. You can start preparing for Cuero this week.

I say the Birds win, but EC may have a little trouble with the Rockport Slot-T. If Rockport gets good possession time this game will stay close.

R-F is being underestimated by posters here, they're not LH but they run slot T pretty good and will sometimes come out of the spread. They return just about all their starters on both sides.

Discipline on defense usually gets the job done against the slot teams and EC is always very physical and very disciplined. Our guys can handle the slot t. My concern would be our offense. It's a work in progress and may be for a couple of more weeks.

If they play the Birds they may do more running from the huddle to the line of scrimmage than they will after the snap.:cool:
