Liberty Hill @ Marble Falls
Fish/JV start at 5:30pm
Varsity plays at the conclusion of the sub varsity games.

This will be the first meeting for these teams. Marble Falls has 17 Starters back and has some experience playing the Slot-T having been in District with Lockhart and Medina Valley........ Buuuutttt LH ain’t Lockhart or Media Valley. It’s only a Scrimmage so let’s get after it and hopefully all the Panthers and Mustangs are healthy and better prepared to start the season when it’s over. I believe this Marble Falls bunch will make the play offs this fall and end the drought.

To much purple for this scrimmage. There can't be a whose the better purple but who is worse purple !!!

Rockets are hosting those Chinese Cats. No word if it will be a tri-scrimmage like last Friday.

Varsity probably starts around 7:30

Actually, I think the scrimmage is on Thursday.

On Friday the Denton area weather forecast is for a high of 100.....which usually occurs about 4 pm this time of the year. It will be HOT!!

So it appears that Argyle will have both scrimmages at home, then its first two predistrict games at home also before traveling for a game. Stephenville and Waco La Vega will be coming to Argyle to play the Eagles to start the season. It's been a few years since Argyle had a season opener at home.....and I can't even remember Argyle ever having a schedule with back to back home games to start the season, much less both scrimmages too. The last time Argyle had a season opener at home was in 2014 against Wylie. Last season Argyle played 4 away games before playing at home. In 2016, Argyle played 3 away games before playing at home. In 2015, Argyle played 2 away games before playing at home. Don't remember about the scrimmages in those years. From what I'm hearing around the area......the season opener with Stephenville will be Standing Room Only. The stands were almost full last week for the scrimmage against Denison and the parking lot was almost full capacity......just for a scrimmage!!

I take it, the Henderson Stadium is not ready yet, since our schedule showed the scrimmage to be in Henderson.

No, it is not ready. They are hoping to have it ready for their first home game of the season on September 14th.
