As far as Dist. 5-3A matchups are concerned, I only see Bowie advancing.
Graham lost 3 varsity players to grades going into the playoffs, and this will hurt. They swept Early, but Early is not much competition compared to Kennedale. Kennedale should win this series, 2-1.
Lake Dallas is talented and Iowa Park can't keep up. I look for Lake Dallas to sweep, 2-0. Again, like Graham, Iowa Park swept Comanche but Lake Dallas is a tougher team than Comanche.
Bowie has a great pitcher in Heath Taylor, who has a good fastball (mid to high 80's) and curve ball. He will carry Bowie. If he can get any run support from the Jackrabbit's offense then Bowie should win the series. Bowie 2-1.
