Bob Keeshan died today. I know most of you guys grew up watching his program like I did. He was great. Say "Hi" to Mr. Rogers for me Bob!!

Underware are you kin to Andre Ware?

It's sad to see the Captain has passed away. May he rest in peace.

Did you know he was a decorated war hero? He once saved Lee Marvin's life. Lee Marvin talked about it once on Johnny Carson.

Captain Kangaroo was a favorite growing up. For him to be a war hero and be a kid's show host says something about that generation. What a loss...

He was a gentle man on the show, I was shocked to find out he was a war hero. Just pays to remember you never know who you're messing with.

I saw a news report on him yesterday. They said he was opposed to violence in TV and movies which is why he started his show. They also said he got his start in TV as the voice of "Clarabell" on the "Howdy Doody" show. The entertainment industry could use a lot more people like Bob Keeshan. God grant him eternal rest.
