Bay City boy’s basketball coach Nathan Janak was named the Bay City ISD interim athletic director, the district announced on Friday.
Janak, who is also the boy’s golf coach, takes over for Lupe Florez, who resigned as Bay City’s head football coach and AD on Monday to take a similar position at Clear Brook High School in the Houston area. Florez coached the Blackcats for the last three seasons.
