With Ric Renner and the shear amount of hair product and makeup he is using to cover his age.

He's been doing that for 15 years. Has more to do with him being a doofus rather than his age.

It has gotten worse.

Several years ago, when they were opening the show and doing introductions, he said "and I'm Ric Renner, of the bad hair".

You think?

Renner's hair has become his schtick, in a way. It's a little like Michael Strahan's Grand Canyon gap between his two front teeth ... he could fix it if he wanted to, but it's part of his character now. Same with Renner. He could fix his hair a different way. But viewers have come to know him for his terrifically bad hair. And he has a good sense of humor about the whole thing. He often makes quips about it on air. I say long live Renner's bad do.

They should hire Cornel Thompson of West Orange-Stark to replace him. Now THERE'S a man not trying to hide his age.

Plus, he'd be more entertaining as a commentator. Also, WOS's opponents would appreciate the career change.

Ric is truly one of the nicest guys in the media. He has a gimmick and it took hold so he kept it.

Renner's on air persona always reminds me of Van Earl Wright of the 90s era CNN sportscasts.

That is kinda his joke...he is over the top obvious man with the generic sports talk voice
