So he jumped ship with Morris to Arkansas. Good for him.

Selfishly, this is what I had hoped would happen. Great, great hire for the Hogs. Our Texas recruiting just went up several notches. Bielema just never could figure out how to get his foot in the door in Texas. Now, I suspect you'll see Arkansas' roster be littered with elite recruits from the Lone Star State! #WooPig

Good hire for SMU with who they went with..Good move for Traylor...There was rumors he might become the next OC for Mizzou.

Jeff is going to have plenty more opportunities to be a Head Coach at the college level because he is an excellent Coach . I think this is a great move on his part and actually now days with the current salaries of top assistant Coaches he could spend the rest of his career doing just that, not have to deal with all the headaches, and still retire with more money than he will ever spend. Just a big fan of Coach Traylor and wish him nothing but the best.

I will never understand exactly why Herman let Traylor go with the rest of the Strong staff. That recruiting pipeline to East Texas was huge for us.

Good luck to Traylor nonetheless. Really wish he could have gotten his shot at the HC position though.

He was the Special Teams coach and TE...To be fair they were terrible under him whether it was his fault or not.

I wonder if he will run the score up on lesser teams in college too?

P.S. I don't think he will be OC. I think the SMU OC (Joe Craddock) followed Morris to Arky.

Outside of Scott Surratt, I think most East Texas HS coaches are looking to stick it to JT.

Art Bries Jr. Everyone outside of north Texas worshiped Briles. However, all the people he coached against hated him.

YT, was wondering if Silas would follow Chad to Arkansas. The razorbacks got a good one!

I have heard that he will be granted the title of co-OC with Craddock. I have no idea if this is actually the case.

All seems to be really quiet on that announcement.
