Yet another first-time matchup for WO-S as these two have never played. The game will be 7pm Texan Drive, Porter Friday Dec. 1st.

I’m thinking this one will be a pretty good game and that when WOS tries to step on the Rusty Nail they get bit. LOL, if you don’t know, the Madisonville coach’s name is Rusty Nail.

I did not realize he is the ex-coach of Mart. He's been there. Explains why they are doing so well.

So what happened against Mexia? I haven't really read or seen anything, but why only 17 points?

QB got hurt early and had to simplify the play calling for the sophomore backup.We left two scores on the field due to bad handoffs when we were fixing to score.QB will be ready for Madisonville just a bruised hip.Coach did put him back in late to just hand the ball off.Mexia defense did a good job,they had some quickness.

Spread formation with mostly running plays. They have a tailback (#20) comparable to #6 from your team.

That sucks, hope he is well enough moving forward. I know all too well how disruptive injuries can be and this late in the season can = disaster!

#6 is a load! I need to go look at Madisonville's schedule. :nerd:

I don't have any info on injury just that he will start.He is a big part of our offense.He is not a Jack Dallas as for as his passing game but his feet is his weapon.So how much his hip will hamper him in that regard I'm not sure.

Cornelius Merchant is the best back ive seen in several years in HS. Good game to the Madisonville team and fans. What a dog fight.

I told the crew we go to games with at the beginning of the season that Wimbereley will win Region 4. That's about to come true. We've awaited the chance for redemption from the worst defeat in our history for 12 years now... Not sure if this is the year for it, though.
