This will be the first time these two programs have ever met. It will be 7:00pm Friday at Conroe Moorhead Stadium. Both run the spread. WO-S is coming off a 54-0 win over Brookshire Royal having outscored its last three opponents 140-0 with a state-leading 36 game winning streak on the line and 13 game playoff game winning streak on the line. Mexia won 30-7 over Gonzales in Bi-District. They finished as runner up in District 9-4A D2, a district which swept usually very strong 10-4A 4-0 in Bi-District. The Mustangs continue with their tradition of a stout defense only giving up 69 total points so far this season. Can the Black Cats crack the code?

The history we have had with Mexia says they are definitely a scrappy bunch. Scrappy only gets you so far. WOS keeps the streak alive fairly easily.

With the way the first round went for some of the favorites I don't think WO-S will take Mexia lightly.

WO=S wins their third straight State Title as I just do not see many teams that will challenge them this season especially with their defense.

This ain't 2016.These kids are pretty good but it want be easy.A few teams out there that will really challenge them.BTY....Happy Thanksgiving.
