After a night to think about last night's game, I still think Wylie is pretty darn good. I do have a question, and it's not meant to be offensive - in yalls (Wylie fans) opinion, how does Stephenvilles defense rank in terms of what you have seen this season? If you would have told me Wylie would only rush for 18 yards I'd say your nuts or your whole backfield was hurt. We're there injuries?

It seemed like Wylie came out the second half determined to stop the run and make Jones beat you which in my opinion is how you beat Stephenville. He happened to make enough plays despite a few bad decisions.

Good luck to Ville. Doubt seriously we see each other again this year. Don’t think either team can beat Argyle... Y’all were definitely the better team last night, congrats on the district championship.
Our backs were healthy. QB was running for his life all night as our depleted o-line could not block your d-line. I knew you were better on both lines and that was the difference in the game.

I honestly lost interest (sounds terrible I know) after our best O-lineman came out early with a dislocated left shoulder. This is the same kid that is 34-2 as a left handed starting pitcher on our baseball team. Was 14-0 and basically unhitable for the state championship team last year. 6’3”, 240 with great control and is a true 3 pitch guy. Bunch of D1 teams after him and possible mid round MLB draft pick. Literally made me sick to my stomach.

I saw him come off with his shoulder hanging. Didn't notice if he came back in or not though. Any update?

He did not come back in. No update yet. Dislocated shoulders can vary from no structural damage that heal with rehab and rest to major structural damage that requires reconstructive surgery and are never the same effectively ending a pitchers career. Praying for the former.
He is a great kid BTW—very quiet and respectful, universally liked by his teammates and coaches. Leads by his work ethic and effort.
