Isn't it possible that Smithville really does have a good team this season? Afterall.....they have won every game on their schedule so far......that's really all you can ask them to do. My vote goes to Smithville......if for nothing else......to make believers out of all the doubters. Giddings is no slouch even though their record does not show it. If Smithville can win this game, then I think some of the doubters will......still be doubters, LOL. :crazy1:

Despite the Tigers playing a weak schedule, they will find a way to win. Giddings will play tough in a close game

Rustin Grimm, QB, Giddings

A senior, Grimm passed for 185 yards and five touchdowns to rally Giddings to a 49-44 victory over previously unbeaten Smithville. He threw two touchdowns passes in the final minute, including a 42-yard, game-winning strike to Travis James with eight seconds to play.
The victory, only the Buffaloes’ second in six games this season, gave Giddings a 1-0 mark in District 10-4A, Division II.
