This may be the best team from Pecos in 30 years and it showed in the 1st half. They played spirited and the Mustangs had a slow start after the long bus ride out west.
Pecos took a 23-20 lead into locker room, but 2nd half belonged to the Mustangs. Sweetwater moves to 5-0, 1-0 in district play.
Next week the Lamesa Golden Tors come to Mustang Bowl as district play continues.
