Lampasas led Robinson 37-35 heading into the fourth quarter, and that’s when things went crazy. The Badgers were able to hold off Robinson, outscoring the Rockets 30-27 in the final frame to secure a 67-32 victory Friday night in Robinson.

Both teams far surpassed 600 yards of total offense. Ace Whitehead paced the Lampasas offense as he completed 26 of 32 passes for 250 yards and five touchdowns with no interceptions. Brandon Pierino caught every one of those touchdown passes for a total of 112 yards on the night.

But it was Sean Williams who ran the show for the Badgers, literally. The running back had 21 carries for 353 yards and four touchdowns on his own.
For the Rockets, Mason Cooper showed improvement in his second start at quarterback as he completed 22 of 34 passes for 264 yards, four touchdowns and only one interception. Cooper also rushed for 122 yards and a pair of scores. Isaiah Houston was right behind Cooper in the ground game with 126 yards and three touchdowns. Houston also hauled in six catches for 158 yards and a touchdown.

Wimberley all day. The Texans looked really good against Giddings. I don't see Mr. Williams putting up 353 yards on the ground for a second week in a row. Texans by three scores.

I'm amazed at how much offense Lampasas can produce.

If you had seen the defense against which they did it, I don't think you'd be surprised.

Last year Lampasas won 70 to 68 and that was its only win. Robinson went 9-3.

Correction; Rockets won the game last year. Lampasas had beaten Fredericksburg the week before and what for them I'm sure sucked, they lost 9 straight.

Badgers, badgers, badgers...

I had a mental visual of that stupid thing from a few years ago. Carry on! :D

Been under the weather a bit (putting it mildly) the past few days. Good to see rb585 take the initiative. lol If I didn't know any better I'd say that Lampasas and Robinson play 6-man any time they get together. Another opportunity for our young secondary to get experience against the pass. Watch, they'll probably try and run it down our throat. Go Texans!

Texans looking good so far this year should win this one with lots to spare.

Oh yes, there is NO DOUBT the Rocket defense was a sieve last year and looks like we have the same thing this year. Offense offense offense....defense is an afterthought around here......SMH

2006 was a nice ride! 11 years sure has gone by quickly!

Last year's offense was fun to watch, but the D was painful.

Weeks was awesome. The Lampasas secondary was flat-out terrible. Bad combo for them.

We're really good.
