Just heard about this and wanted to send out an official thanks. The flooding in Orange and Jefferson Counties was worse from Harvey than either Rita in 2005 or Ike in 2008. All three of my siblings had several feet of water in their homes for almost a week as did probably more than half of the residents of Orange.

WO-S has confirmed they will be playing Bridge City at home next Friday 7:30pm for their first game of the regular season.

Bearcats Supporting Southeast Texas School District in Need

Aledo ISD is gearing up to help those affected by Hurricane Harvey.

Aledo is joining with several districts across the state to provide aid for West Orange-Cove Consolidated ISD in Southeast Texas.
AISD will help in the relief with a donation drive as West Orange-Cove Consolidated begins the cleanup and recovery process from the flooding and destruction.

The first phase of this effort will be collecting needed items at the Aledo ISD campuses and administration building. All donations will also be collected at the Friday, Sept. 15 game vs. Mansfield Legacy at Bearcat Stadium.

Needed items are designated by campus and facility for donation drop off during business hours. Drop-off areas will be designated at each campus and Bearcat Stadium.

Bearcat Nation, please join us in helping support this district in its time of need.
