Sinton by 10. They aren't playing Fairfield so they have a chance.

You'd be better off sending me a text as a rarely check-in anymore LOL

Still don't know how this game is even being played with Rockport kids not in school and/or many of them enrolled in other schools?? *shrug*

Hoping our kids can get into the right frame of mind and play some hard-nosed football!

Hoping our kids can get into the right frame of mind and play some hard-nosed football! One of the kids from Rockport when interviewed said he likes he gets to play football and not have to go to school. Think they still will go to school but in Gregory Portland. Did Sinton get any kids, GP had 1000 extra students from tv reports.

I've been wondering the same thing. The amount of transfers at all GP campuses is crazy right now. Plus how do you field a team with players who are not attending classes and being graded? It's all very weird with no explanation.

That being said, I will be at the game tomorrow, my first Pirates game in 4-5 years.

Sinton starts off with 2 td drives and nothing much after that. Rockport Fulton slot T ate up most of 2nd qtr and punch it in for a td.
Sinton receives to start 2nd half. Sinton 13 Rockport Fulton 6 half

I was wondering how it was that Rockport players ran on to the field to very loud music. Did the rules change cos we were always told the home team was the only ones who could play music NOT played by the school band? Heck, even our band was told not to play by the refs at one game during actual football play, which was ridiculous. Were they given permission to since their band wasn't present?
