BEASTLike we told everyone from Sanger... we lost all games to them last year to as well... this ain't the same Steers.. And we beat them 26-6 freshmen 52-7 JV. 55-14 varsity.. this ain't last year's team....and Wayne was at our game he seen us play Friday Night he knows

Look, we both had blow out wins over teams that are not real good. That said, both of our teams displayed the ability to do what good teams do. Neither played down to their opponents level, rather they finished them of very quickly. Friday can't get here soon enough.

I got news for you......Sanger ain't no creampuff team this year. They may have been outgunned early in the season before their defense is ready, but they will end up with a winning record this season for sure. That being said.....I still believe this game should be in the toss-up category. Both teams appear to be very strong on both sides of the ball, but especially offensively. Offense usually rules the roost in early season until defenses come together. The offense always knows where the play is going......it's the job of the defense to figure that out......and that's the part that takes some time to get going unless the defense is already very experienced from the previous season. I kinda lean toward the home team in this one.....being that it's a toss-up of which team may play better this week. I'm not rooting against either team.....it should be a very good game. Good luck to both teams and hope for a clean injury-free contest.

Should be a great game. Both teams are very talented and shouldn't be taken lightly. I'm gonna have to go with Brownwood; excellent run game and a nice passing game. I believe in the end we'll have graham worn out, but that's just my biased opinion.

Also looking forward to seeing our new scoreboard in use.

Heck of a game, Congrats to Graham Steers on an impressive comeback! The Lions had no answer to the draw plays up the middle and a few early traps, other than the early bumps it was an offensive onslaught! Lot of speed on the field, both teams, not so much on defense!

Steers QB took that game on his shoulders and walked to victory! 1st quarter looked like he was going to be carried off the field on a stretcher, but he just kept getting up! Unbelieveable display he put on! Now, its back to the drawing board for the Lions, Learn how to tackle!

What an offensive game. Lots of speed on both teams. I think the difference in the game was Graham's OL and DL. They are big and strong on both sides of the ball. The fact that the Steers have enough quality depth to rotate DL is huge. Congrats on the win Graham. Good luck to you the rest of the season.

Yes I think a it is a big advantage that we can rotate defensive lineman play-by-play and tire the offense lineman that they play against. That works really well come 3rd and 4th quarter. Something tells me y'all will be fine this year.. I think only AW will be a problem in district...good luck

My final thoughts on this game. I think there were 2 good teams going at it for sure. I think both offenses adjusted and were able to completely demolish each other's defense. I don't think either teams defense is bad. I just think that on that night the offenses were really good. Either way it is what it is. Congrats to Graham.
