Yessir! These young panthers have a lot to learn still, but there is a ton of heart and fight in them and it helped them win tonight. Looks like Wimbo had the opposite of a nail biter congrats on the big win! Will definitely be looking at yalls game next week!

6 turnovers later, Rockets fall 27-28 to Taylor. We went for two after the final TD, didn't get it.

I wasn't sure what we have this year, defense is much improved and if the turnover problem gets cured, I think we'll have a nice season.

Didn't see it anywhere else on here, so... Wylie 45--Vernon 6 Final.
Observations: As expected our D is solid. Was 38-0 at the half, subs came in after the first series of the 3rd quarter. O looked good in flashes but will need to improve... quickly.
Next 3 games will show us our weak spots and what we need to work on---Next up is Lubbock Monterey at home then Denison on the road, both solid 5A teams. Then Argyle on the road. Ouch.

No. Look at the individual stats and you can see the American Statesman has the team rushing stats backwards.
Navarro was 48/389
Giddings was 11/221.
Totals were Navarro 390 total yds.
Giddings 489 total yds.
Giddings #3 Taveon Page is a real speed demon and broke two 80 yard TD's and Navarro blew coverage on a couple big passes that totaled about 100 yards but Giddings was loaded with fast quality receivers and their QB looks really good.
