Ville's OL is the biggest and as talented as it's been in years! Last season's OL was super young and small compared to the norm. That will counter anything Bwd has to offer on defense this season.

Perhaps. But the 2 D tackles we have will have a voice as well. Both around 6'3" and 270ish. The D ends are very good as well.

So the Defense sounds like it won't miss a beat from last year's squad? Wow!!!Don't think so... won't be as big up front but not small either. LB's will be outstanding headed up by returning 2 yr starter and D1 prospect Anthony Guerrero (6'3", 220 lbs). DB's may be the best we've had in many years. D will be solid.
Offense will likely take several games to gel--very good skill position players but very green. New QB, RB's, receivers. O-line may be our biggest challenge but hearing from inside sources they are looking way better than most had anticipated.

This team can still be a dang good team. I know these young men well. We just need to shore up some things. It's not a talent or an effort issue. The things that are plaguing the D can be fixed.

The upside is the D will improve......the downside is Brownwood lost 2 games because of the D. Another upside......the offense should be able to carry the defense against less prolific offenses. Another downside.....how many teams does Brownwood have in district with less prolific offenses, LOL.
