Im going to one tonight that if it were a game, it would be the game of the year. La Vega at Kennedale. Id love to see 4 quarters between these two but I guess ill settle for scripted plays and one live quarter. :)

I'm hearing from my brother that Goliad is very good again this year. They lost that good qb when the coach moved Hallettsville because the GISD school board ousted him due to some complaints by some of the parents of girls in the high school. His son in now a senior and will be the qb for the Brahmas. Goliad will have Halletsville in their region.....also Yoakum. Those are 3 great teams in 3A in this region this season. Goliad did NOT make the Top 25 in the preseason polls, but have advanced to the 3rd rounds the past 2 seasons. In fact, Yoakum will tell you that Goliad was their toughest opponent last season in the playoffs......Yoakum came back and won by 2 points late. Should be worth keeping an eye on that region(Region 4) in 3A DI this season.

PNG is really good. They will fight it out with Port Arthur Menorial for that district. Our defense is still very good. Have to see what the next few weeks look like to see about the offense.
