Truth be told, it IS JUST A GAME!

Just a game that some spend a lifetime trying to perfect but never come close.
Just a game that unites 10’s of thousands of people in a community.
Just a game that kids dream about playing on the highest stage from an early age.
Just a game that those very kids spend countless hours in the sweltering heat and nearly killing themselves knowing they will likely never play passed the high school level.
Just a game that brings a smile to their face and tears to their eyes when they finally get that scholarship offer. A scholarship that was paid for with their blood, sweat and tears.

Yes, Texas High School Football is just a game.

A game that we all love!

Nah, man. I've have nothing but respect for the Buckeye program. I found these pictures
in this East Texas newspaper while looking for Gilmer video or audio of our game. I thought
they were really well done and went so far as to share them with a mutual friend of you and
me and they thought the same. It was then I decided to share them here where I thought a
conversation might be started, silly me. Hell, I even removed Bobcat's silly game prediction
from my sig before I posted the thread just to make sure it wasnt made part of the discussion.
