After falling short last night in game one, these girls battled back in the heat to win 2 today, 6-3 and 3-0. Area Champs.

Lorena moves on to play Salado in round 3.

The last game was a great throw back game of years ago, solid pitching and great defense. Two very even teams going at it, Cograts Rockets.

Ingleside defeats Pearsall 2 games to 1 in best-of-three series. Pearsall won game one 4-2, lost 2nd 5-4 and lost third game 6-3.

Pearsall trailed 2-0 for all of game two, rallied in seventh to take a 4-2 lead only to see Ingleside score three runs at bottom of the seventh for the win.
