Texans take down state ranked Navarro tonight 12-4.

Texans defeat La Vernia tonight 8-1. Record now stands at 13-4-1. 4-0 in district.

Lady Texans defeat La Vernia 3-0 in softball.

Texans took a break from district play today and blanked cross town rival Canyon Lake 7-0. The boys are clicking right now.

Wimberley defeats Gonzales tonight 11-0.

also considering seeing Boerne that one is just 30 mins away but Wimberley matchup looks like a good one to see. Been to both teams stadiums before. Wimberley turf field is nice. Boerne is a older stadium last time Sinton played there.

Wimberley finishes off 27-4A district play tonight undefeated (8-0) after defeating La Vernia 4-2. Texans now stand at 18-4-1. Congratulations Texans!

Wimberley plays Hondo tonight. 7:00 PM. All @ Boerne High School. Best of 3. Game 2 is Saturday (10:30 AM) with game 3 (if necessary) 30 minutes following. Go Texans!

Texans take the Columbus series 2 out of 3. 2-0, (2-10), 5-0. Area Champs!

Hats off to Columbus. Their boys can battle and they have some legit talent on that ball club.

Think Boerne scored 36 runs in three games in El Campo

Boerne won game 1 12-6.

It was just ugly baseball. Both teams played very poorly, with lots of errors, misplays, and poor pitching. It took two hours to play the first four innings.

Boerne scored 4 runs in the 1st on 1 hit. Wimberley actually took the lead by scoring 4 in the 2nd and 1 in the 3rd, but Wimberley's pitcher ran out of gas in the 4th and Boerne started hitting line drives and plated 7 runs.

A 2 run walk off HR for Boerne ends the game (7-6) and the season for the Texans. Great season Wimberley. Congrats Boerne. Wow. Texans just missed ending the game with a double play but the throw to first was in the dirt.

Wimberley has some tough but nice players, polite fans, and professional coaches. That was a tough game for them tonight. The boys played great. Good luck in summer ball and football. Hopefully, we meet up in the baseball playoffs next year.

This was a fun season for Wimberley baseball. That was indeed a tough way to lose. I feel for the team and coaching staff. Really liked our chances if there was to have been a game 3, but you can't sit on a lead against a team like this. Wish the Greyhounds all the best.
