Total offensive game with very little defense to slow down the pace. Whoever made the steals and converted on fast breaks......along with the free throw difference. Lots of drives to the hoop from one end to the other. Both teams had speed and quickness with some quality individual talent. Both teams had trouble harnessing a team concept, though......pretty much hully gully offenses with no set plays and movement of the players to run the offense.

Very entertaining game to watch, thought the style both teams played fit the personnel well..if I am Silsbee and I have 10 guys who can go I want up tempo and to try and wear the opposition down...rather see a game like that than a game in the 40s

From a fan's viewpoint watching the game, I agree. It was very entertaining, and you could see the talent level. You could see that both of these teams were almost mirror images of each other. Kudos to Russo in the losing effort......what a fantastic effort and stellar personal performance.
