Silsbee vs. Argyle will be very interesting. Two completely different styles of play. Silsbee up tempo, fast break, full court press, 3 point shooters vs. deliberate, half court, slow down, work inside game.

If Argyle can slow it down, they have a great chance to knock off #1 Silsbee. If Silsbee dictates the pace and gets the scoring in the 70+ range, it's over.

Argyle outplayed Silsbee by the numbers.......and took the last shot from the corner for the win. It hit the backside of the hoop and bounced out.......just a tad long. I thought they did a very good job overall limiting the Tigers attack and controlling the boards. In the end, Silsbee was able to cause a couple of turnovers by double teaming whoever had the ball. They were quick with good hands, but Argyle played excellent defense and an effective motion offense while controlling the boards. I'm certain Silsbee is very very happy to advance after that tester, haha. It was anybody's game to the last shot......great game by both squads.:wave:
