My friends from Cedar Park are not to happy, they had a rough time in 5A-D1 play offs this past fall. They are a big 5A but have been lucky that their district had so many big 5A qualifiers that they would usually go D2. But they are a big 5A with an enrollment of 1949 so its the right place for them.

Silly. Why not just create 10-12 separate divisions?

What's the point of keeping them both under 5A?

Probably because the UIL can't count that high. If the number of classifications goes past 10, it means they will have to take their shoes off! :D

Perhaps but there will still be some on the losing end of that stick. Those two WOS/Scarborough bidistrict games brought in a fortune

Sherman and Denison are being split up for the first time in 25 years. Sherman will be going to Texarkana again and will get Highland Park as a bonus. Denison has it easy: Princeton, Greenville, Royse City, etc.
