Sinton wins their opener tonight against 5a Alice Coyotes at Whataburger Field 3-1. Sinton starting pitcher Jordan Martinez gave up two hits in 5 innings of work and Mason Hopkins gave up no hits in his two innings of work to close out the game. Martinez also had two doubles in the game with one off the left wall. Sinton rank #6 in 4a off to a 1-0 start heading to their 1st tourney in Pleasanton on Thursday.

Fairfield lost to Rusk and another team last night I can't remember who beat us or the scores. I was at a stupid ass power lifting meet. All I know is our baseball team struggles.

We have to have something; can't seem to break through in football; have no chance in basketball; track program is a joke (I miss the glory days from back in the day.......11 years in a row district champs....70's......I'm an old guy); we have done pretty well in Cross County and Tennis, so the basket's not completely empty.

Wrzesinski had the rockets rolling back when he was there. Had he stayed around, I could only imagine how good they would be. Fedora came in and squashed baseball but now they are really rolling again. Great to see a school putting some effort into good baseball. Best of luck to the rockets!
