SCHULENBURG — Leading from start to finish, the Sweeny Lady Bulldogs had to hold on at the end as they pulled out a 54-43, Class 4A Region IV area round victory Thursday over Hondo.

Sweeny (29-5) will play the winner of Columbus and Boerne, who face off today.
