The Interim Coach declined to apply this year. After Bo left then a young guy name Layne took over and left. Longtime asst.Grubb I think is his name was named interim and now I am hearing the DC may get it. 4 Coaches in 4 years.

Heard Chris Taber a OC from Tyler Chapel Hill was the Choice. Was a Coord. at TCH before then three years at Jacksonville as the HC with an 8-23 record of which one was 0-10 and was currently back at TCH. This one seems to be a Head Scratcher. It must be the Bears way!

This is a strange hire. I don't know what kind of applicants they had, but Taber has had a rough 5 years. 8-23 at Jacksonville, and then OC for TCH who is 5-16 over the past 2 years. That's 13-39 on teams he has been involved with the last 5 years. TCH offense was inept the last 2 years. Maybe he can get it turned around. When he left TCH the 1st time in 2012 he was a hot name.
