According to the Sweetwater Reporter, SISD will accept applications for 2 more weeks (Feb. 3rd). After a short list of finalist are interviewed the following week, a decision is planned to be reached by Feb. 17th. The official hiring is expected at the following Board Meeting on Feb. 23rd and 1st. day on the job of March 1.
As of last Thursday 70 applications had been received. Outgoing Superintendent Terry Pittman (retiring) states they are getting lots of interest and expects around 115 applications for the vacant AD/HC position.
It will be interesting to hear who applies and makes the shortlist!
