Wow! Didn't see that coming. I thought Sweetwater had a good core of players coming back. Did the HC make somebody in town mad?

new AD/HC at the next school board meeting Feb. 26th.

The new AD/HC at Sweetwater High School is Ben McGehee from Temple HS pending approval from the school board.

Ben McGehee has been in coaching for 11 years and is the associate head coach and quarterbacks coach for the Wildcats. If the offseason, Coach McGehee assist coaching the powerlifting team.

Coach McGehee is a graduate of Wink High School where he played both quarterback and safety. He is also a graduate of Texas Tech University.

Coach McGehee began his coaching career in Brownwood for two seasons, then coached at Abilene Cooper H.S. from 2007-11. Following Abilene Cooper he was at Palestine H.S. in 2011-12 and came to Temple in 2012.
