"Former Celina Bobcat and Texas Tech Red Raider, Anthony Lynn has been named the interim head coach of the Buffalo Bills.

Lynn was a star running back for the Bobcats in the 80's. He went on to have a stellar college career at Texas Tech and part of the Denver Broncos' 1997 and 1998 Super Bowl winning teams.

He was the Bills' assistant head coach and offensive coordinator before the organization fired head coach Rex Ryan Tuesday.

Lynn will coach the Bills in their season finale game against the New York Jets this Sunday. He is considered a candidate to replace Ryan permanently because of his familiarity with the offense."

His son, D'Anton Lynn, was also a standout player for Celina. 2007 State Championship Team. Safety that played most of the game with a tore up shoulder. He went on to start 4 straight years at Penn State.
