View Full Version : Bring back the DownLow traveling flag with M&G's?

I've been discussing the idea of restarting the traveling website flag with meet and greets at the games and signatures on the flag as it travels. It used to be a really fun way to bring the communities together. We would just need a flag maker (was it Rangermom or LHPanthermom that used to do it?) and a schedule of games to hand it off from team to team. I know the WOS-Kennedale game would be a good one to transfer from West to East Texas mid-season but that can easily be sorted out. Open to ideas and thoughts as well as other things to get the site rocking again.

The 2007 Flag in my possession at the link below on Facebook. I recognize most of those names.

I could've sworn I signed that 2007 flag at the Gilmer / WO-S game in Lufkin. I don't see any of the posters' names from that M&G. Maybe I'm mistaken... Hmmm...

That would be awesome. M&Gs are the norm up around my way. I have meet several posters from the big football schools. Would love to take part in the flag idea...

I'd like to take part; however, being the only Robinson guy on the board, I will understand if the flag doesn't make it may way; maybe during the playoffs next year I can hit a game where it will be.

I think I agree with CAM; this is greendawg's fault!!!

True but then you'd miss out on the potential undisclosed prizes for most creative signatures and we will give the flag to the most deserving site member at the end of the year. M&G's rarely happen anymore. We definitely need to bring more back.
