Thoughts on players skipping bowl games to get ready for NFL. I see players wanting to get started, not getting behind others preparing for all activities they go through with NFL predraft stuff. But with the number of bowl games now looks like everyone else is playing also. One reason is to not risk injury. There is a big difference in salary's if you drop in the draft. They say bowls don't mean as much. I remember in my earlier life I watched all of them. Wasn't as many bowls then. More rivalry in those bowls. It was always Big 10 champ vs PAC 8 champs in Rose Bowl. Cotton bowl was SWC vs high ranked opponent. Same with Sugar, Orange bowls.
