Burnet lost one of their biggest fans. Iv2937 (Marvin Adams) passed away a few days ago. It was impressive how he took on his illness head on. Marvin fought the good fight!......Rest in peace Iv2937

Thanks Cam for posting about our loss of LV2937. Tried to post earlier but couldn't get in and - wouldn't take my login.
Burnet will really miss Marvin. He and his wife Martha went to all of Burnets high school sports game. Couldn't go to a football, basketball, volleyball, baseball, softball or other games that they weren't there. They bought a motorhome mainly just to go to all away games. He loved his high school sports. Marvin introduced me to the downlow 4 years ago when I moved back to Burnet. He said he had been on the downlow for severl years - one of the oldest.
Marvin made it to all the games he could this past year if his treatments didn't zap him and then he would listen on the radio. Marvin did make it to his final football game - the Burnet vs Taylor bidistrict game.
.
That dam cancer just slowly sucked his life away. He will be greatly missed.
