I rely on Rocket baseball to help pass the time, but unfortunately they don't start til February or there abouts.

I was in denial throughout the weekend. Didn't want to get on here because I knew it'd remind me that we've got a long winter to endure before baseball, and then a hot summer to carry us on through until August 2017.

Yep, I do, too. When the urge hits I'll watch some old games during the bad DT symptoms. My family doesn't understand why I wanted to watch all the state championship games. I watched the ones I could live, but recorded the ones I couldn't to view later.

I tend to get really nostalgic towards the end or after the football season. I wish I could get my hands on some Celina game tapes from the 1998-2001 era, or from the 2004-2008 years.

Y'all need a local cable company that replays your Bobcat games so you can record them. We have a local broadcast team that does that, and we also have Aesculus gilmus who puts up the highlights on Youtube. I can go to Youtube and watch the complete 2004 state championship game (in 2 parts), and can watch the 2009 state championship highlights, or the complete Fox Sports Southwest broadcast version of the 2014 state championship. There's always plenty of highlights of Gilmer's game on Youtube thanks to the aforementioned.

There's some scattered Celina highlights from years gone by, but not many. I could probably get my hands on some tapes and digitize them for everyone. That may be a fun winter project, actually. Thanks for inspiring me, waterboy.

Get 'er done! I always get a little sad when football season is over. Then I'll get tired of waiting after a couple of months, and will watch a rerun... It helps me get through.
