This is shaping up to be a very good game. Paul....QB for Bremond....is trying to lead the Tigers to a 3-Peat today. Of course, Iraan is the sympathetic favorite here after the bus tragedy. Bremond is the real deal, folks. I hope the Indians of Iraan can keep it close to the 4th quarter. 14-7 Bremond with the Tigers driving again. They like the big plays. Bremond scores again. 21-7 now.

This game reminds me a bit of the Celina-Mart game in 2000 that drew such a massive crowd ... or, at least, Roshaud Paul reminds me a bit of Mart's Quan Cosby, in terms of being the best athlete, far and away, on the field that day. Celina corralled Cosby pretty well, though.

Paul joins elite company, too. I could be mistaken, but I believe he is just the third QB in Texas HS Football history to win three straight state titles (Celina's Adam Herrin and Allen's Kyler Murray are the other two). But Paul is the first to do so without losing a game during that span.
