We came out ready this week. We had a streak taken away from us last week, and we were out for blood. The first time our defense took the field, they got scored on. That just got our offense more pumped. Our first possesion didn't go as planed on offense either. The next time we got the ball though, we scored. We were going touchdown for touchdown with Rice the whole first half. We went in at the half with the score 21-20 in favor of Rice. We new that our offense was gonna have to keep scoring and our defense would have to step it up. Well, our actions spoke louder than our words. Our defense only allowed only one touchdown, plus they scored too on an interception run back. Our offense just kept doing what they had been doing the whole game, gettin the ball and puttin it in the endzone. When the final second ticked away, the score was 56-28 us. Hell of a game. God that win felt great. It was the first time Rice had lost at home in 2 1/2 years.
