Ugly but it was a win.

Also, think 3 games in like 12 days had a lot to do with the ugliness. This team needs some rest.

Hey Roughneck.....sorry I wasn't on board here tonite. I watched the game at the bar at the Alamo restaurant while eating mexican tonite. What a messed up game......and the Cowboys still won in Minnesota. The big talk after the game is all about the Cowboys winning DESPITE not playing a good game. They still made some plays and still played some great defense when needed......and won. But it was not a stellar performance and they are 11-1......that's the main deal and the big news everybody is talking about. How good are these Cowboys really, Huh? That's the question everybody is asking. Their best game has not been played yet.....end of story.

I think the Vikings Defense had something to do with the Cowboys performance.

No doubt about that. The Viking defense is very good, but I don't think the Cowboys were as focused and prepared for that like they usually are. Like someone else said, three games in 11 days takes a toll.

It was a win, however, albeit an ugly one.

Only thing wrong with the Cowboys performance was they couldn't stop holding and it stalled just about every drive.Cowboys walk away with it without the penalties.Vikings had nothing.

And we had 3 turnovers on our side of the field. Defense played a big role last night when offense was against a really good defense. Like i said long week is going to do us good in preparing for the next one. I look for us to look better in next one.

Agreed. I think the long break will help a ton.

That said, the Cowboys could/would not survive a similar performance against a team with any semblance of offense. The Vikings are completely inept on that side of the ball.

You are correct sir.A better team beats the Boys last night.

Some of that stuff was chicken sh8t as well as the "hands to the face" call. They did catch a break on the 2 point conversion try. Seen that called for a whole lot less contact.

They definitely caught a break on the 2-point try. The referee was clearly blocked out from being able to see the contact. You could see him after the play tap Bradford's shoulder, telling him that's where the contact occurred, which is true, but he missed the shot to the head because he just couldn't see it from his position.

Also of note, there was a missed false start penalty ahead of that 2-point try, too.

We need to free ourselves of Doug "Setum" Free this offseason. The strip sack and another sack was his fault. Slow feet and short arms are his faults. We need to draft 2 edge rushers and a Right tackle in the draft and I will like our chances even better. Ugly win is better than a loss.
