It's been called to my attention multiple times that there are no mods from the ETx, DFW or West Texas area that either don't exist or don't have the time. I asked quite a few of you last year and received a bunch of nos. I still think we definitely need two more mods. If anyone feels they are sane enough and have a few minutes of time to spend each week message me or Old Green. Don't hate me for Region profiling.

In case you are unaware of the TDL rules and regs., the first duty of a new moderator is to give 50 bonus posts credited to the account of any Downlow member who says hello to a new moderator. And, it just so happens that I'll finally make varsity with those 50 extra posts. You came along at just the right time. (BTW, you can trust me on this. No need to check on it. Just tack on the 50 posts.)

lol We have a local team in 5A that's still making some noise. Love to go see them play next week. Or, maybe La Vega, Navarro, and then there is Cuero. I can get the two for one special right there. Monahans was another but 4 very costly turnovers ended their run. The rest of Texas has made me a R-4 defender. After it is all said and done though, one could label me a true one school homer.
