If you have it handy, could you post the full 64 teams? If it's much trouble don't worry about it.

And is the SOS based on opponents records? If so, is it overall record or record other than the game played against the team in question?

I've been sitting here at the DMV going on 3 hours to renew my license :weeping: but will when/if I ever make it out of here.

Good question on SOS. On MaxPreps, here are the only 4A-D2 teams with SOS of 20 or higher in order starting with highest SOS:

Waco Connally, Pittsburg, Fairfield, Pleasant Grove, Mexia, Gladewater, Atlanta, Tatum, Orangefield, Vernon, Diboll, Gilmer, Lorena

If they all play each other and all have the highest SOS, shouldn't more of them be ranked. For fun, I looked at Orangefield's schedule. They played three 3A's and a terrible private school in pre-district. I guess if WOS is in your district you get an extra 10 points on SOS.

My list is ONLY of teams still playing with D1 included as well so Pleasant Grove matches up there as does Gilmer, Gladewater, Lorena. My algorithm includes the upcoming opponent as well. Orangefield also played Liberty and Bellville both of which are ranked top 10 in maxpreps 4AD2 rankings and all three of those 3A teams are still playing this week as is Hardin-Jefferson. Again, stop writing off teams WOS beat. May just come back to surprise you. Kennedale has shutout how many teams by how much since that loss?

Just went back and looked a little more, and I learned a few things (which I know will make me look pretty stupid but since I opened my big mouth I thought I either better back it up or pull my foot out of it; unfortunately it's the latter). Lorena, Mexia Fairfield all played La Vega and Ch. Spg. and other solid non-dist. games. The Gilmer, Gladewater group all played some stout 4A-DI's. (Henderson, Carthage, etc. and no other non-dist. patsies. WOS, Liberty played tough non-dist. I probably randomly picked the school (Orangefield) that had the weakest non-dist. schedule of the bunch. And, D-7, D-9 and D-12 have a bunch of tough district games unlike a lot of districts where you might only have 1 or 2 tough games. We only had one. I'm omitting WOS as a team that would have many tough games in any district. Seriously. And, WOS's SOS should be higher with the 5A's and Kennedale. Probably the biggest SOS driver is how deep some of those districts are compared to other districts around the state. You guys over there already knew all this, so I'll take my foot out of my mouth and stop typing.

Stop. Not gonna work. You're on the radar. We all already know you're a threat. Good luck in Region IV. You definitely have a rough road ahead in the next few weeks though. Ask the recent Navasota State Champ about SOS after 11 weeks. Doesn't really mean too too much as they played zero elite teams up until El Campo. Navarro's will go up dramatically quickly soon if you keep winning.

No buttering up intended. Serious analysis. I wish our district was deeper. It would be a lot more fun for our kids to not have to sit the starters at halftime of 3 of our 4 district games. Last year our non-district schedule was weak and our district schedule was brutally weak. Thank goodness the UIL sent Lytle to D-14. We beefed up our non-dist. schedule this year, but still had three easy district games. Anyway, it is what it is. Our kids are incredibly blessed to have an awesome coach which makes all the difference in the world. It's all good! And, thanks for the well wishes. Same to you guys. It's getting exciting.

Our SOS makes sense to me. It's a lot better at this point this year than last year because our coached beefed up our non-district schedule. And, what does it matter anyway. My son is on the team and he doesn't have a clue what our SOS is and doesn't care.

WOW, WOS Defense only allowing 30 points all season, that's 2.7 ppg. That's a Championship winning Defense right there.

21 to Kennedale after we were up 38-0 and 2 on a holding in the end zone call on our offense. In our other 10 games, we've allowed 7 points total. That will change this week
