Wimberley has a very good defense and very capable offense this season.....they just keep improving. I will give them a touchdown nod in this one. Be ready for a physical game from Wimbo.

District 13 almost made a clean sweep as well, only llano was eliminated. On top of that, Hondo blew out Devine which was Very suprising! Sinton was 2 points away from making D15 only go 3 and 1, and the unrelenting force that is supposed to be Sweeney barely squeaked by PI.

Based on these facts I would say D15 and D13 are still pretty equal after rd 1. Come next week, 2 teams from each district will still be alive!

Our backfield appears to be a full house once again with the return of #24 last Friday. Many options. This team is better than what Sinton has seen the last couple of years. I like what the Texan QB has done in recent games and he can sling that rock.

I don't understand why Sinton didn't try to get the ball to #2 more. He looked like the best athlete on the field, had all kinds of size on our CBs, and we were blitzing the safeties every play.

They had him 1-on-1 in the middle of the field any time they wanted it.

Same thing with our game last night. Sweeny has a very good QB-receiver combo, but QB had no time to throw. Way to go, BTW!

Thanks. I thought Sweeny would do more offensively and score a couple of TD's at least but I guess I continue to underestimate our D. The POG for us last night in my book was our unheralded junior MLB, Tyler Law, who was in the backfield all night. It looks like ya'll had a lot of things going last night on O and continue to get better there every game. D is always good. I'm glad you and Cuero are on the other side of the bracket. Good luck next week.

I would just be guessing, but it could be because of the blitzing and the inability of our Oline to give our QB time to get him the ball. Y'all lived in the backfield all night. Both Olines struggled.

yes same thing I was wondering but things happen pretty quick and qb for Sinton couldn't get rid of the ball as quick as he needed to. More blitzes once they noticed Sinton line wasn't picking it up.

Thanks SFA. I actually felt pretty good after we went up by 7 with a little over 6 remaining. Then boom, boom, we were tied. I don't think we had given up big running play all night. Looking forward to, as always your video posts.

Just watching the video and seeing again just how the wind affected the passes on both sides of the ball not to mention how many times the teams went for it on 4th down.
